“God makes them and they come together”, that was the friendship of Inés Gómez Mont and Galilea Montijo

The bond between both grew stronger over time: they lived close by, knew their families and even their children considered themselves ‘cousins’ due to the proximity between the conductors.

As both were public figures, trust grew and it was common to give each other constructive advice or criticism about the situations they went through and what they shared. Both couples became ‘compadres’.
