After 8 months since one of his legs was amputated for health complications derived from a heart attack, John Paul Medina posed, for the first time, with his prosthesis. The actor how he has led the recovery process and thanked the unconditional support he has received from his loved ones.

It was in mid-2021 when the entertainment world was shaken after learning about the state of health of the distinguished actor who has stood out in the national industry in projects such as I’m your fan, the house of flowers, dad wanted, Guadalupe Reyes, The idealists club, Love of my loves, Thirty-year-old, single and fantasticbetween many more.

From that moment, both the interpreter and his relatives had remained on the sidelines of the situation and only a few details emerged, such as the amputation of his limb due to thrombosis. After months in recovery, Medina granted an interview for the magazine GQwhere he opened his heart to tell his recovery experience.

To begin with, Juan Pablo Medina shared that his rehabilitation began since he made the difficult decision to lose a leg to save his life, because as soon as he notified the medical body had contact with a psychiatrist who helped him navigate the situation and it would have been thanks to the talks he had that he was able to take the amputation from another perspective.

“We started talking about the decision before the medical intervention was done and that made all the difference. It is necessary to understand it and that the specialists support you. It is something very bastard, but I could count on that help. I never took therapy in my life and now I am determined not to leave it for nothing, ”he declared for said medium.

After the surgical intervention, Medina presented insomnia that little by little dissipated with rest medical attention. The next step was to find a suitable prosthesis for her needs and for this she had the help of his girlfriend Paulina Davila and with your communication agent. The situation caused him concern because he did not know what his life would be like with this new support tool.

“When they told me that they were going to amputate me, the first thing that came to my mind was that my life, as I was leading it, was over. That’s when you wonder what are you going to do and how will the change. What I wanted was just to live and from there I started to think positively”, she commented.

Finally, the actor confessed that the adaptation and rehabilitation process has taken longer than he expected, but he trusts that with dedication and patience he will be able to resume his personal and professional plans. He also acknowledged that in recent months he has gone through ups and downs, but thanks to the support of his loved ones and a person who went through a similar situation, he has managed to move forward.

At the moment my recovery is going very well. I thought that in hell I would walk with the prosthesis, but it is not like that. I’m relearning”, he added.

John Paul Medina He invited his Instagram followers to read his life experience with a publication where he took up the cover he made for the magazine. In the image taken by Ram Martínez, he can be seen lying on the grass next to his pet and carrying his prosthesis. What stood out the most was his bright smile.

“Happy to share with you this episode in my life. I am very grateful to all of you for your support and good vibeshere I tell you a little about what this process has been, from now on we go with everything, of course, yes !!”, he wrote.
