In 2020 something happened that we would never have imagined would happen: a global pandemic paralyzed the entire planet. All of us had to put our lives on pause to avoid getting infected with Covid-19 and, after many months, the vaccines. It was great news for many, except for Miguel Bosé!
The singer said “They want to kill us all with these vaccines that are not vaccines, they are genetic experiments”.
“The first to fall are those who already have the mark of the beast in their veins. The governments do not want us and do not protect us. It is bullshit, corruption and manipulation.”
These statements were made during an interview on the Argentine television program ‘A24noticias’, but it is not the first time that he has declared anti-vaccine. His controversial statements have resonated since the vaccination plan began in his native Spain.
Three famous anti-vaccines
1. Jessica Biel
In June 2019, the actress pressed against of California Senate Bill 276, which gave the state department of public health the final word on whether children may be medically exempt from vaccinations required to go to school.
Shortly after, Jessica took to Instagram to address the reaction she received. “I am not against vaccines; I support children who get vaccinated and also support families who have the right to make informed medical decisions for their children together with their doctors, “he wrote.
2. Robert de Niro
In 2016, Robert, who has an autistic son, championed the inclusion of Vaxxed at the Tribecca Film Festival. The movie about the alleged danger of vaccines was directed by Andrew Wakefield, the same former doctor whose beliefs have been repeatedly debunked.
After backlash from the medical and film communities, Robert, co-founder of the film festival, agreed to withdraw the film.
In 2017 participated in an anti-vax panel for the World Mercury Project, now called Children’s Health Defense. After Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gave a speech about vaccines being unsafe for some children, the actor said, “I thought what Bobby said was great. He was eloquent. He couldn’t have said it better. I agree with The 100 %”.
3. Jim Carrey
The actor has repeatedly objected to thimerosal, which was ironically added to the vaccines during the 1930s to help prevent life-threatening contamination with harmful microbes.
After strong pushback from misinformed people, public health agencies agreed to remove thimerosal from most childhood vaccines as a precaution in 2001. According to the CDC, “Even after thimerosal was removed from almost all childhood vaccines, autism rates continued to rise, which is the opposite of what would be expected if thimerosal caused autism.”
Despite what these celebrities may have said, there is absolutely no evidence to support any claim that vaccines are unsafe.
