Earlier this month, Muna Pauls Cherri came to New York pursuing the dream of being an artist. For ten days, the girl, who had already shown his talent, went through the different stages of the program, always with the company of dad Gastón. Between improvement sessions and singing and dancing classes, they had time to relax with his father – together they went to see the musical Wicked- and to share moments with their peers. All experiences that he will keep forever and that, without a doubt, are part of learning.

But as the song says, everything has an end, everything ends and Muna’s New York experience concluded with a moving performance of “Reflexion” from the film Mulan in the final performance held at the National Opera Center; a diploma that she wore proudly, and a gallery of memories that she will keep forever. “I take with me teachings, friendships and thousands of anecdotes to tell for the rest of my life”, he highlighted in a post on his Instagram account, which continued with a reflective tone: “It is the end of this trip but it is just the beginning of our training to be better people, and artists”, he stated before thanking everyone academy staff.

For her part, Valentina Berger highlighted the family support the girl received: “Agustina and Gastón are an example of how to accompany an artist daughter. They are in every detail, always present and respecting their daughter’s times. It is very nice to see parents who fully support this path that Muni chose from love, care and training,” said the director of GO Broadway, who revealed the wishes of the academy to receive her again in the future.

In that sense, her mother once spoke of Muna’s foray into the media and compared the present with her beginnings, in Feasting. “The problem is that when I started it was not like it is now, the media were not like they are today, nor were there social networks.
