Throughout this year within the world of K-pop Many idols were involved in rumors and controversies that they finished, or nearly did, their artistic careers.
From complaints for sexual harassment, psychological abuse, up to investigations by drug possession, or problems in the industry that reached the dissolution of groups who were in their prime, it was the controversies that starred in 2021 within Korean pop.

One of the first news that surprised fans of the K-pop in January was the official announcement that the members of GOT7 they decided do not renew contract with the company they trained, debuted and stayed for 7 years: JYP. Although this did not mean their dissolution, it did have an impact on their agenda as a group.

Although it is not part of Korean pop, the actors and actresses do have a strong impact on the Hallyu, and some were embroiled in serious rumors.
