Daniela romo She is one of the most internationally recognized Mexican actresses and singers, however, she has seldom been called by her real name, as she had to change it to make her artistic career more successful.

Daniela Romo was born on August 27, 1959 and only at age 11 began her career as a singer and theater actress with the Zavala Brothers with the play With you bread and onion. She also became a student at the academy of Andres Soler in ANDA and, with the knowledge obtained and his talent, he left Mexico in search of stardom.

The actress had great success in the United States, also with plays, but when it came time to catapult her fame, it was decided that his name could no longer remain the same that would be used for the artistic world.

Daniela’s real name is Teresita Presmanes Corona. Her mother decided to call her the same as her, Teresa, but it was registered with the diminutive, therefore, everyone knew her as Teresita Presmanes. However, there was a producer and director who did not think that the ideal would be to continue with his real name, since he considered that Teresita was very common and Presmanes was very complicated and unknown.

It was Francisco del Villar who asked the playwright to think of a new name, but she just couldn’t think of one that was worth it. She spent a long time thinking about what the perfect pseudonym might be, that not only would she like and feel familiar and comfortable with, but would also be attractive to the public.

The same filmmaker then proposed “Daniela Romo” and she loved it. From the moment Del Villar mentioned the name, she was in awe and quickly made it her own. Although she had not previously indicated that she did not like her real name, she assured that she was very grateful to have been able to find this alias, under which they would know her internationally.

As soon as he got home and saw his mother and sister, he said: “My name is Daniela Romo, and whoever calls me in another way, I will not answer”, he narrated in one of his live broadcasts.

Although for her, Daniela Romo is a name that they know they invented just so that the public could have her present more easily, she assures that she adopted him because that is her and because he made her very happy.

The pseudonym that he now carries, he presented with such pride that, in fact, his first record it was titled the same way, Daniela romo. This first album was promoted throughout Latin America and several European countries, with which they were presenting her as the new promising singer and few knew that her name was actually Teresita.

This first album was so successful that it was presented at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in February 1984, being very well accepted by the public and also became a recognized Mexican in Italy by releasing a maxi single with two of his songs in Italian.

Daniela became an artist so committed to her professional career that did not have children for paying attention to her profession, because although she always drew attention to interact with children, in her busy schedule there was never time to start a family.
