Eugenio Derbez recalled in detail his fake wedding with Victoria Ruffo: “It hurts a lot”

Eugenio Derbez has spoken for the first time in such detail about the alleged fake wedding with which he would have cheated on Victoria Ruffo, who sued him for moral damages for this reason. In a recent interview with Jordi Rosado, the comic actor revealed what his truth is about the mother of his son José Eduardo.

And it is that when they began to know each other, around that year 1991, Victoria became pregnant, so they decided to try to consolidate the relationship.

“Nothing had happened but a little kiss here, another there and a sweaty hand, and after two weeks for the first time I went to his apartment to consummate love… he hit the first time,” said the actor from No refunds.

After a while, Eugenio planned to give her the ring at a themed wedding party: “I am going to tell this because it is a subject that really affects me a lot, it hurts me a lot because I have carried this all my life…”, the actor was honest.

And it is that after going to live with Victoria and waiting for the baby, the soap opera actress made him the proposal to tell the press that they had married, which he accepted and they began to focus on the plans:

“I said, ‘I have to face this and I’m going to try, I can’t be having kids… I don’t want to have kids all over the place… It turns out when I come back and say, ‘Let’s try, we’re going to live together.’ Tells me: What are we going to tell the press?… Well, we are going to get married, we are going to tell people that we are going to get married, and we don’t have, when they ask us for the marriage certificate, there it is, I’m not going to show it to you. Let’s say we got married, period. If we buy some rings ‘…”, said the comedian.

According to the also film producer, when he left to marry Alessandra Rosaldo In July 2012, she told her son José Eduardo that the best wedding gift she could give him is speak the truth or tell her mother, Victoria Ruffo, to tell the truth of the alleged fake wedding for which he sued him.

“Speaking with José Eduardo I told him: ‘I want a wedding present. And it is that Derbez, as a romantic act, then decided to give the jewel to Victoria at a “wedding-type costume party”, for which he rented a room in a hotel and had a menu of pizzas and hamburgers.

With a borrowed wedding dress, the actor Marcial Casale ‘in the role’ of the priest, and the full knowledge of Victoria Ruffo and her family that it was an informal party, without wedding validity, the celebration was held among friends .

However, upon ending the relationship after four years of being together, Derbez suspects that Victoria has supported her version over the years on the recommendations of her lawyer:

“When Victoria and I parted ways, I want to assume, because I don’t know this, that the lawyer must have told her: ‘When did you get divorced? Because I read that they got married… We are going to sue him for non-pecuniary damage saying that he deceived you.… So when this news reached me I couldn’t believe it.

“I said: ‘Who in their five senses is going to think that you can cheat on… Victoria Ruffo?'” he said. “Why don’t the media investigate a little more?… It was a party to give him the rings in a romantic way… and I’ve carried that and to date I had never discussed the full story…”, revealed the actor to Yordi Pinkish.
