Sophia Rivera stated that her marriage to Eduardo Videgaray He has left her a lot, but not everything has been positive, since she confessed that it was one of the worst things that has happened to her career as a presenter.

In the new video of the channel Pinky Promise from Karla Díaz, Sofía was one of the guests and uncovered new details about her relationship with her current husband; One of the parts that he liked least about having reached the altar with Videgaray is that his image in the entertainment world has been reduced to being the presenter’s partner.

“Ugly to say it, but the greatest difficulty I have had as a woman, that is, the worst thing that has happened to my career, was marrying Eduardo Videgaray. In my career, eh, not personally. In my personal life it was a blessing.”

And it is that, as Rivera explained, since she married Eduardo, her career on television has been buried since now they recognize her only by the person she married. “I have been working since I was 16 years old, earning my place and at the moment I got married, oh no, well ‘is the wife of’. It has been very difficult. I have even had to take distance between us in the professional field, but it is very difficult because we are together in a program. He also confessed that when he began his courtship with Videgaray, they tried to keep it a secret since they work together, in addition, they did not know if it would really last a long time.

Sofía and Eduardo met a few years ago when she joined the program Does matters!. After a few months of starting a friendship, love was born and they made their romance official. Once the Coronavirus pandemic started, they decided to go to live together because of the risk represented by having guests in the driver’s house, due to the advanced age of his father and complications that may occur catch the virus.

On October 31, 2020, drivers they got married in a private ceremony where only a small group of guests was present due to the number of covid-19 infections. As Sofia shared, they only invited 30 people and the ceremony was held in a venue suitable for 200 people.

On pinkypromise, Rivera also shared that one of the things she appreciates most about getting married is that she became stepmother. He commented that the daughter that Eduardo procreated with his deceased wife has been a pleasant surprise in his life. “She came into my life, to teach me many things, like a new heart grew in me to love her”said the presenter.

She added that it has been very special for her to be able to guide a young adolescent in a stage of her life where it is essential to have a companion, since she said she knows how it feels to not have maternal support at 12 years old.

Sofía commented that being able to be a stepmother has allowed her to overcome one of her fears, because she always feared having children and being a bad mother.
